1-Year Limited Warranty
At Mortek US, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality home appliances and smart devices. This Warranty Policy explains your rights and our responsibilities when an issue occurs during the warranty period. It also outlines the steps required to process a warranty claim accurately and efficiently.
1. Warranty Period
All eligible products purchased through mortekus.com or authorized Mortek US retailers include a 1-year limited warranty starting from the date of purchase.
A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice, or retailer receipt) must be provided with all warranty claims.
2. Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended household use.
If the product fails due to a qualifying defect during the warranty period, Mortek US will provide:
• Free repair, OR
• Free replacement
depending on the technical evaluation of the issue.
All warranty decisions are subject to inspection and verification.
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does NOT cover issues resulting from:
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, drops, impact, fire, or liquid damage.
• Unauthorized repair, disassembly, modification, or tampering.
• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, cosmetic damage, and degradation of external materials.
• Consumption or deterioration of accessories and consumable parts (filters, cables, nozzles, batteries, etc.).
• Using the device outside intended conditions or in extreme environments (excessive heat, humidity, dust, etc.).
• Loss or theft of the product.
• Failure to present a valid proof of purchase.
• Purchases made from non-authorized sellers or marketplaces.
• Products with expired warranty coverage.
Accessories and consumables may carry different or shorter warranty periods and are not covered by the 1‑year device warranty.
4. Warranty Claim Process
Step 1 — Contact Support
Customers must email support@mortekus.com before sending any product back.
Provide:
• Order number or invoice
• Purchase date and purchase channel
• Product model or SKU
• Detailed description of the issue
• Photos or videos clearly demonstrating the problem and the product’s physical condition
Step 2 — Technical Review
Our team may request additional testing, documentation, or troubleshooting to verify the issue.
A preliminary diagnostic evaluation is required before a warranty claim can proceed.
Step 3 — Instructions & Return Authorization
If approved, you will receive:
• Repair or replacement instructions
• Return instructions (if needed)
Shipping Responsibilities:
• Quality-related defects — Mortek US covers shipping.
• Non-quality cases — Customer covers shipping.
Step 4 — Resolution
Once received, products undergo inspection.
Replacement units are subject to the same remaining warranty period from the original purchase date.
Providing a replacement does not renew or extend the warranty period.
5. Additional Warranty Conditions (Soft Protection)
To ensure fair warranty usage:
• Clear photos/videos are required to validate issues.
• Products must be used under normal household operating conditions.
• Items must be securely packaged if shipped; damage during transit may void the claim.
• Issues that cannot be reproduced during inspection are not considered warranty defects.
• Full technical inspection may require 7–14 business days.
6. Non-Transferability & Region Coverage
• Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
• Warranty is non-transferable.
• Warranty coverage applies only within the United States for products purchased through Mortek US.
